Job summary

Northwestern University is seeking an Assistant Director for Alumni Engagement to advance industry-based engagement and career programming. You will coordinate virtual and in-person events, recruit speakers, manage committees, and collaborate across departments to connect alumni and donors.

The role includes leading the Northwestern Alumni Industry Networks, managing volunteer rosters, and producing marketing content in partnership with Communications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of development, marketing, event planning, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine strategic plans for alumni engagement with focus on professional development.
• Co-lead Northwestern Alumni Industry Networks and manage volunteer committees.
• Plan and promote virtual and in-person career events, recruit speakers, and coordinate logistics.
• Manage CRM data, track engagement and outcomes, and prepare analytics.
• Plan and execute event timelines, run-of-show, and post-event follow-up.
• Coordinate budget, dashboards, and ROI reporting for programs and events.
