Smith College is seeking an experienced administrative professional to support the AVP of Alumnae Relations and the Executive Director of the AASC. You will coordinate board meetings, committees, and reunions, manage budgets, and lead logistical planning for events and travel.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree required; 1–5 years experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize, take initiative and solve problems.
  • Strong technology skills and comfort with systems.
  • Maintain confidentiality, diplomacy, and good judgment.
  • Provide excellent customer service to diverse populations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the AVP of Alumnae Relations/Executive Director of the AASC.
  • Plan and implement administrative tasks for board meetings and subcommittees, including agendas and materials.
  • Coordinate events, travel, logistics, and budgets for meetings and programs.
  • Maintain databases, rosters, and shared drives; ensure data accuracy and reporting.
  • Liaise between President’s Office and Office of Alumnae Relations for programming.
  • Track budgets, reimbursements, and invoices related to board activities.
  • Support Reunion Student Program tasks, staff supervision, and materials.
  • Ensure inclusive, respectful work environment and adherence to College policies.
