Job summary

Structural & Mechanical Inc. seeks an Aluminum TIG Welder to join our fabrication and field services team. You will perform TIG (GTAW) welding on aluminum, read blueprints, and fabricate assemblies with precision.

The role requires 2+ years of aluminum TIG welding, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or with a crew in a fast-paced industrial environment. OSHA safety and quality standards are expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years aluminum TIG welding (GTAW) experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and weld symbols.
• Experience with fabrication tools; shop/field work OK.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on aluminum components for structural and mechanical applications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols to determine specs and tolerances.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble aluminum components and structures.
• Inspect welds for quality, strength, and code compliance.
• Set up welding equipment, shielding gas, and tools; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and team members to meet project deadlines.
