Job summary

Kewaunee Fabrications, an Oshkosh Corporation company, is hiring motivated welders for the 3rd shift at our Wisconsin facility. You will weld steel and aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW, inspect work, and maintain a clean, safe workspace.

Starting pay is $26.75/hour with premiums for aluminum/robotic welding and for 2nd/3rd shifts, plus a wage progression plan and full benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Previous metal fabrication and welding experience.
• Basic blueprint reading and mechanical skills.
• Willingness to obtain AWS D1.1 certification.

Responsibilities

• Weld steel and/or aluminum parts per blueprints using MIG, TIG, FCAW, or SMAW.
• Use fixtures to position components and control distortion.
• Perform grinding, cleaning, and deburring as needed.
• Complete required job paperwork and labor documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Perform self-inspections and adhere to quality standards.
• Support preventative maintenance and assist coworkers as needed.
