Position Summary

The Aluminum Frame Welder works in the aluminum weld department and is responsible for welding together aluminum frame material to construct the frame of the aluminum boat trailer.

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Use fixtures to ensure measurements are correct for specific model trailers.
• Utilize industry tools and equipment, including powered saws, hand shears, chipping knives, portable grinders, hand files, and scrapers.
• Use precision measuring tools to inspect grooves and angles.
• MIG weld all aluminum components to create the aluminum frame.
• Conduct tests to check weld quality.
• Maintain proper equipment; repair when needed.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
