Job summary

ALCOM LLC is a manufacturer of aluminum trailers with multiple plants nationwide. The Production Assembler handles measuring, cutting, and drilling aluminum, plywood, and skins. Training is provided, and staff may work across Production areas.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, following work orders, and balancing productivity with quality and safety. A clean, safe work environment and proper PPE are emphasized to ensure high-quality trailers and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum: hands-on experience with a variety of power tools.
• Experience in manufacturing or construction is helpful; however, on-the-job training may be provided.
• Must be able to read blueprints and work orders.

Responsibilities

• Assembles different facets of a trailer following the work order and ensures productivity with quality and safety.
• Reads and follows blueprints and work orders to produce a quality product.
• Obtains raw materials and cuts material in accordance with the cut list specifications.
• Notifies supervisor of issues with materials, defects, or deviations from the work order.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area and reduces scrap.
