Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Youngsville, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to join our day shift. You will inspect products, read labels, and setup a glass-edging machine to polish edges, ensuring quality and efficiency.

We offer pay from $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, benefits starting day one, and a monthly performance bonus. This role requires teamwork in a fast-paced, physical manufacturing environment with lifting and safety expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing environment; glass industry preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs unassisted; up to 150 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to read a tape measure and follow supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting product for abnormalities and notify supervisor of issues.
• Read labels to expedite production and understand paperwork/picking list.
• Set up and operate a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass/mirror edges.

What You Will Be Doing

• Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying supervisor immediately of any issues
• Following work instructions by reading labels to expedite the production process; understanding and communicating paperwork and labels/picking list.
• Setting up and operating a single-side straight-line glass-edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges.

Skills You Bring

• CMS, CNC, Hand Fab, or Polish Machine Operator experience.
• Experience in a production or manufacturing environment; Glass industry is preferred (not required).
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted. Must be able to lift up to 150 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to push weights greater than 150lbs with a team.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions from Supervisor, Plant Manager and/or Branch Manager.
• Ability to work in varied temperatures consistent with same climate conditions of the region in a non-climate-controlled facility (Heat, Cold, humidity).
