Job summary

Real Alloy is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily operations at our NC plant. You will supervise Production Supervisors, drive efficiency, ensure product quality, and promote a strong safety culture. Partner with the Materials Manager to develop cost-effective blends and maintain strict regulatory compliance.

You will hire and train staff, manage performance, and coordinate with other departments to meet production targets and budgets. Occasional travel and varied hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent combo of education and industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of business practices and proficiency in Excel, Word, databases, and email.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and regulations.
• Willingness to work varied hours, on-call, and travel occasionally as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations and supervise production supervisors.
• Optimize production efficiency and ensure product quality.
• Develop cost-effective blends with Materials Manager and ensure safety culture.
• Hire, train, manage performance, and address issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management to set standards, budgets, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor throughput, quality, housekeeping, and OEE improvements.
• Direct blending and production priorities to minimize downtime.
• Review reports to identify root causes of nonconformities.
• Maintain accurate inventories of raw materials and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
