Production Castings, Inc. is seeking a dependable Aluminum Furnace Operator to join our Die Casting team at our Fenton, Missouri facility. Work four days a week, Monday through Thursday, with a 3-day weekend, and enjoy weekly pay and full benefits.

The role focuses on maintaining furnace operations, managing alloy temperatures, and supporting aluminum handling throughout the die casting process. Safety-conscious and dependable candidates who can perform routine tasks with limited supervision are

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain breakdown furnaces and aluminum used in remelt furnaces, bull ladles, and rotary degassing equipment.
• Monitor and maintain alloy temperatures within established control limits.
• Properly clean furnaces to help prevent premature equipment failure and maintain efficient operation.
• Perform required processing operations, including degassing, to help prevent defective product.
• Monitor furnace conditions and identify potential equipment or process concerns.
• Operate a forklift as required to support furnace and material-handling operations.
• Follow established operating procedures, quality requirements, and safety practices.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Communicate equipment, material, or quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Complete assigned duties with limited supervision.
