Job summary

Helion Group is seeking an Equipment Reliability Technician for a high-volume aluminum manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

You will review PM schedules, perform planned adjustments, log PMs, and quickly respond to breakdowns with precision and reliability, following strict safety standards.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on strength with hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair abilities.
• Experience with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and pumps.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Background in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance practices.
• Self-directed and reliable with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose issues in cylinders, valves, and components across hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Trace electrical faults using a multimeter and electrical schematics.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics to isolate root causes.
• Perform equipment changeovers, repairs, adjustments, and installations.
• Document work thoroughly and close PMs in the system.
• Follow plant safety procedures and keep a clean, orderly work area.
