Own the Night: Keep Our Aluminum Lines RunningStep into a high-output aluminum manufacturing environment where your hands-on expertise keeps production moving. As a Maintenance Technician on our 3rd shift, you’ll be the go-to problem solver for complex electro-mechanical systems and the guardian of uptime across the plant.A Night in This RoleYou arrive, review the maintenance log, and prioritize the most critical items. A conveyor is signaling a fault—within minutes you’re on site, meter in hand, tracing the issue through electrical schematics. Later, you pivot to a scheduled PM on an extrusion press, inspecting hydraulics, testing pneumatics, and documenting every step with precision. Before sunrise, you’ve completed a changeover, tuned a gearbox, and left the area spotless for the next team. What You’ll TackleTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems across the facilityExecute preventive and predictive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtimeService and optimize aluminum extrusion presses and their auxiliary/support equipmentDiagnose issues on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, and other rotating assetsPinpoint faults in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits (cylinders, valves, and related components)Use a multimeter and read electrical schematics to resolve electrical problems quickly and safelyInterpret mechanical drawings/blueprints and electrical diagrams to guide repairs and installationsPerform equipment changeovers, adjustments, rebuilds, and new equipment installsComplete PMs and record work accurately to maintain clear maintenance historiesRespond rapidly to breakdowns to protect throughput and qualityFollow plant safety protocols and keep a clean, orderly work areaWhat You BringSolid industrial maintenance background in a production settingHands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumaticsDemonstrated mechanical troubleshooting and repair capabilityFamiliarity with motors, gearboxes, conveyors, bearings, and pumpsComfort diagnosing electrical systems with a multimeter and schematicsAbility to read and apply mechanical and electrical drawingsBackground in aluminum extrusion or metal manufacturing is strongly preferredStrong understanding of preventive maintenance methods and schedulingAbility to work independently and respond effectively to unplanned eventsReliable attendance, consistency, and a safety-first mindsetShift: 3rd Shift
