Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Able to comprehend and follow procedural instructions.
• Demonstrate basic math skills for measurements and conversions.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally and 25 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Configures and operates the straightening presses and ovens.
• Effectively uses straightening and inspection fixtures as required according to procedures.
• Dimensionally inspects and controls castings using measurement tools per procedures.
• Troubleshoots straightening fixtures.
• Maintains calibration of measurement tools.
• Machines all test bars.
• Performs heat treat/age temper on all parts.
• Maintains lot integrity.
• Ensures paperwork is properly done.
• Helps other areas as needed.
