Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. seeks a full-time Quality Inspector in Ogden, UT to visually and dimensionally inspect parts and ensure conformance to customer specifications.

The role requires reading tech cards, measuring with precision tools, and coordinating with engineering to resolve non-conformances. Responsibilities include documenting quality data, using fixtures, and supporting production with defect identification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or preferred.
• Experience in visual and dimensional inspection in manufacturing, aerospace a plus.
• Ability to read and comprehend English; basic math including decimals.

Responsibilities

• Identify surface defects by reviewing tech cards, techniques, and routers.
• Visually inspect parts at multiple process points for defects.
• Use fixtures and hand tools to aid inspection.
• Measure to blueprint and spec with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Enter dimensional data into computer systems for SPC analysis.
• Prepare reports on quality issues and cooperate with engineering.
