Job summary

J.P. Morgan Wealth Management's Alternative Investments Group in New York seeks an Analyst to support the structuring deal team. You will assist VP/Associate with transaction management, underwriting fund terms, and tax considerations across private equity, real estate and hedge funds.

Interfaces include senior executives, fund managers, and external service providers. This role emphasizes rigorous analysis, cross-border collaboration, and timely execution of investment opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems and to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Flexible team player with ability to work independently.
• Strong interest in alternative investments preferred.
• Verbal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for mid-stream transaction execution from late due diligence to fund launch.
• Develop marketing materials including flipbook presentations and executive summaries.
• Analyze investment strategy, competitor funds, etc., using firm and industry resources.
• Collaborate with Global Structuring Team and legal to review private placement memoranda and partnership agreements.
• Sign-off on subscription documents and train marketing on document execution.
• Identify non-standard structural issues prior to investment launch and communicate to operations.
• Educate and advise Alternative Specialists Team on each transaction to support regional teams.
• Coordinate production of offering documents.
• Liaise with Compliance and Risk Management to document marketing guidelines for all regions.
• Monitor and report on fundraising process to senior management.
