Job summary

SRC Technologies Group in Springfield, MO is seeking an Alternator Repair Operator to report to the Production Supervisor, perform repairs on units, update documentation, and assist with minor machine set-ups. The role requires determining product quality with Engineering and Quality, training operators to prevent failures, following safety standards, and lifting, pushing, and pulling material.

We work Monday–Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm with possible overtime on Fridays.

• Update new material specifications, work instructions and processes.
• Assist in training operators on how to prevent unit failures during initial assembly.
• Follow safety standards and wear PPE in designated areas.
• Exemplary attendance and reliability.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position will be responsible for performing repairs on products as needed. Work with Engineering and Quality to update appropriate documentation. Perform minor machine set-ups, general maintenance, and area housekeeping. This position will require decisions determining the quality of the products and services being offered. Physical effort requirements consist of regular lifting, pushing and pulling material.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Repair all units that have failed at the test stand.
• Update new material specifications, work instructions and processes.
• Assist in training operators on how to prevent unit failures during initial assembly.
• Participate in and support the principles of Open Book Management and recognize the responsibilities of being an owner of the company.
• Required to follow safety standards. Required to wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.
• Work attendance must be exemplary.
