Job summary

State Street is seeking a strategic technology executive to lead the Alternatives & Private Markets Middle Office Technology organization.

This MD role will define and execute the technology strategy, delivery roadmap, modernization agenda, and operational excellence across the Middle Office platform ecosystem supporting Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Assets, and other Alternative Investment products.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• Deep experience in Asset Management, Alternative Investments, private markets, or financial services.
• Proven track record leading large technology transformation programs.
• Experience managing global teams and complex stakeholder environments.
• Strong knowledge of software engineering, cloud technologies, and operational resilience.
• Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term technology strategy for Middle Office platform ecosystem.
• Own end-to-end delivery across Middle Office platforms including development and production support.
• Lead modernization, cloud adoption, architecture simplification and platform consolidation.
• Drive engineering excellence, DevSecOps, and AI-enabled productivity.
• Partner with business, operations, product, risk, architecture, and security leaders.
