Von Maur is seeking an Alterations Associate to support our alterations department. You will alter a range of women’s garments from beaded formal wear to tailored pieces, delivering meticulous workmanship and friendly service.

You will measure, mark, pin, and adjust garments, use irons/steamers, and repair damaged items while maintaining a clean, organized work area. The role emphasizes professional competence across basic and advanced alterations.

Qualifications

• Professional competence in basic alterations and be comfortable with more advanced alterations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and own the customer experience.
• Measure, fit, mark, and pin garments to customer specifications.
• Disassemble, sew or reassemble garments and prepare for customers.
• Repair damaged merchandise.
