Qualifications

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience (2–3 years preferred).
• Clear, professional communication with customers and coworkers.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing/pressing machinery and alterations equipment.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and mark alterations.
• Perform fittings and complete sewing alterations per Nordstrom standards.
• Meet productivity goals while following processes and procedures.
• Use store technology to manage and organize alterations.
• Deliver customer expectations through teamwork with the Alterations & Store Team.
• Educate customers and employees on fit, style, construction, and trends.
