Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking a skilled tailor to perform alterations, resizing, and restyling on merchandise for Neiman Marcus stores. You will support fitters with guidance on garment fit, alterability, and structural quality.

You will operate sewing equipment, inspect work for quality, and interpret written and oral instructions. Experience in tailoring or industrial sewing is preferred, with exposure to diverse fabrics and styles.

Qualifications

• Experience in tailoring operation or industrial sewing preferred.
• Exposure to a variety of garment styles and fabrics preferred.
• Ability to read English, understand instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Alter garments to meet or exceed original construction quality standards.
• Perform garment alterations including seams, shoulders, sleeves, collars, coats, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment and inspect completed work for quality.
• Complete assigned alterations and interpret written and oral instructions.
