Job summary

Brobston Group is seeking an experienced tailoring specialist to alter and restyle merchandise, ensuring quality construction. You will support fitters by providing guidance on fit, alterability, and garment construction.

Responsibilities include altering various garments, operating sewing equipment, and complying with supervisor instructions to maintain high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Experience in a tailoring operation or industrial sewing environment preferred.
• Exposure to a variety of garment styles and fabrics preferred.
• Ability to read English, understand instructions, and perform basic arithmetic.

• Perform garment alterations such as adjusting seams, shoulders, sleeves, collars, coats, linings, and pockets.
• Operate and maintain sewing equipment, and inspect completed work for quality.
