Job summary

Center of Life is seeking an ALTA Assistant Program Coordinator to support the ALTA program delivery, ensure safety, and assist with curriculum and activities for students aged 14-21. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work afterschool and during summer programs.

You will collaborate with the Program Coordinator, manage paperwork, maintain files, and help coordinate materials and events.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a valid PA State Driver's license.
Must obtain State, Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprint clearances, NSOR, mandated reporter training.
Ability to communicate effectively with ages 14-21 and provide instruction.

Responsibilities

Support Program Coordinator in all aspects of quality of care, safety, and operation of ALTA students.
Arrive on-time and prepared to work with high energy around students.
Lead on New Hire Paperwork for ALTA students and assist with clearances and permits.
Organize and maintain files for all students with parent/guardian signatures.
Instruct participating students in the curriculum and activities as needed.
Maintain notes for supervisory meetings and contribute to case notes as needed.
Assist students with homework completion and guide future interests.
Serve as a positive leader and model for students during programming.
Be available during afterschool hours and summer camp days.
Communicate with the Program Coordinator about ordering activity materials.
