Job summary

Textron Systems - ATAC seeks an ALSE Technician responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and overhauling ALSE and related survival equipment to ensure proper operation aboard aircraft and flight readiness. You will manage records, plan maintenance, train personnel, and support field repairs with an emphasis on safety and accuracy.

This role requires strong attention to detail and adherence to industry standards and technical publications.

Qualifications

• 4 years of ALSE support, equipment modification and repair are required.
• Shall be a qualified PR “A” School graduate or equivalent course to perform ALSS maintenance.
• Must maintain ALSE repair skills including sewing, communications repair, and equipment buildup.
• Must be able to obtain a SECRET clearance and NACLC/ANACI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Maintains ALSE inspection, maintenance and adjustments for night vision goggles and flight helmets.
• Plans, directs, and evaluates ALSE operations for equipment accountability and readiness.
• Maintains ALSE records and submits equipment for higher level repair.
• Performs cleaning, preservation, and maintenance of ALSE tools and equipment.
• Troubleshoots, repairs, and tests ALSE and related components.
