Job summary

Science and Engineering Services seeks a skilled Aviation Life Support Equipment (ALSE) Technician in Huntsville, AL. The role covers inspection, maintenance, and testing of ALSE across military programs such as H-60 and CH-47, ensuring safety and readiness.

Qualified candidates with military, FAA, or equivalent ALSE certification are preferred. The technician will work in a fast-paced, team environment, maintaining ALSE equipment, liaising with flight crews and maintenance teams, and mentoring

Qualifications

• Experience delivering ALSE programs per FM 1-385 and AR 95-1.
• US Military or FAA ALSE certification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting military aviation life support programs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and test ALSE (flight suits, helmets, survival gear).
• Support flight operations by ensuring ALSE meets requirements.
• Coordinate with flight crews, maintenance, and program managers for readiness.
• Document status, discrepancies, and maintenance actions per guidance and SES standards.
• Assist in training junior technicians and flight personnel on ALSE procedures.
