Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an ALS Provider (EMT-I/Paramedic) for Respiratory Therapy. This full-time role runs 7A–7P and pays hourly. You will assist in delivering respiratory care, medication administration, and patient assessments throughout the hospital.

Qualifications include an active EMT-Intermediate or Paramedic license in Virginia and BLS certification. Prior experience is preferred. Augusta Health offers competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current and Active EMT Intermediate or Paramedic License in Virginia.

Responsabilidades

• Provides generalized Respiratory Care treatments to patients under the direct supervision of the Respiratory Therapist.
• Assesses patients for appropriate treatment interventions.
• Performs approved procedures independently, per completed competency.
• Assists Respiratory Therapist with assessments, equipment management and treatment.
• Cleans and sets up medical equipment for Respiratory Therapists.
• Documents patient care performed, including vital signs, bedside care and observations.
• Observes, documents and reports patient condition and changes in condition to the Respiratory Therapist and / or care team.
• Transports patients, as necessary.
