Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking an ALS Provider to ensure safe transportation and high-quality patient care for BLS and ALS patients to and from medical facilities. This role may involve all types of medical transportation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include 1 year of experience in prehospital patient care or interfacility critical care transport, VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P, ACLS/PALS, EVOC, CPR, and a clean VA- DMV record, with a minimum age of 21.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in emergency medical transport or related field.
• Experience with Prehospital Patient Care or Interfacility Critical Care Transportation.
• Must have an acceptable VA - DMV Record.
• Current VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P certification, ACLS and PALS, EVOC, CPR.
• Excellent performance while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Pay or shift range: $22.03 USD to $33.70 USD The pay range reflects the current compensation range for this position at the time of posting. Individual offers are determined based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors. Not all candidates will qualify for the upper end of the posted range.

Description

The ALS provider is responsible for the safe transportation and patient care of Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities. ALS Providers can be involved in all types of medical transportation.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience required.
• Experience with Prehospital Patient Care or Interfacility Critical Care Transportation required.
• Must have an acceptable VA - DMV Record.
• Current Certification in VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P, ACLS and PALS, EVOC, CPR required.
• Excellent performance while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Minimum Age of 21.
• Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
