Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking a Respiratory Care ALS Provider or Intermediate. You will perform direct respiratory therapy, administer inhaled medications, and assess patients across the hospital under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting the Respiratory Therapist, documenting care, maintaining equipment, and ensuring patient safety. A Virginia EMT license and BLS are required, with preferred 1 year of experience.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active Virginia EMT Intermediate or Paramedic license.
• BLS certification.

Mansioni

• Provide respiratory care treatments under supervision of the Respiratory Therapist.
• Administer inhaled medications and perform pulmonary assessments.
• Assess patient condition and determine appropriate treatment interventions.
• Assist Respiratory Therapist with patient assessments, equipment setup and treatment.
• Document patient care, vital signs and observations accurately.
• Maintain patient safety and communicate changes to the care team.
