Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA is seeking an ALS Provider to ensure safe transport and patient care for Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities. This role involves participating in various types of medical transportation, with emphasis on patient confidentiality and high-quality care.

Requirements include 1 year of EMS experience, VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P with ACLS/PALS, EVOC, CPR, and a clean VA DMV record; strong communication, judgment, and customer service

Qualifications

• 1 year of EMS experience required.
• Experience with Prehospital Patient Care or Interfacility Critical Care Transportation required.
• Must have an acceptable VA DMV Record.
• Current VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P, ACLS and PALS, EVOC, CPR required.
• Excellent performance while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills.
• Minimum Age of 21.
• Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
