Job summary

Augusta Health in Fishersville, VA seeks an ALS provider responsible for safe transportation and patient care of Basic and Advanced Life Support patients to and from medical facilities.

This role involves all types of medical transportation and requires EMT certification, VA DMV record, and commitment to confidentiality and excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience required in EMS or related field.
• Experience with Prehospital Patient Care or Interfacility Critical Care Transportation required.
• Must have an acceptable VA DMV Record.
• Current VA-EMT-I or VA-EMT-P, ACLS and PALS, EVOC, CPR certifications required.
• Excellent performance while maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Good reasoning ability and independent judgment.
• Strong customer service skills.
