Job summary

Dartmouth Health is seeking an experienced ED Paramedic for the Intercept unit in Keene, NH. You will staff the ALS intercept vehicle and ED team, delivering advanced life support and patient care in partnership with the Cheshire Medical Center.

The role requires 3–5 years of 911 Paramedic experience, NH license within 30 days, and strong teamwork, communication, and critical thinking. Competitive benefits accompany this full-time position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of providing 911 service at the Paramedic level.
• Nationally Registered Paramedic; NH state license within 30 days of hire.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to function as a member of a multidisciplinary team; strong critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Provide Advanced Life Support to 911 responses on the ALS Paramedic Intercept unit.
• Assess patients, monitor cardiac status, manage airway, administer medications.
• Document all care in the patient’s electronic medical record; maintain accuracy.
• Participate in code team responses and inter-facility transfers as needed.
• Mentor new staff and students; uphold infection control and safety standards.
