Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health seeks a Paramedic to provide professional care in the Emergency Department. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, using critical thinking to respond to changes in patient condition.

Responsibilities include administering medications, collaborating with the care team, and contributing to discharge planning. Relevant NH paramedic licensure (EMT1002) and ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
• 3 years of relevant clinical paramedic experience in pre-hospital or in-hospital emergency care preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages patient with individualized care by evaluating effectiveness of care and modifying care based on clinical presentation.
• Provides individualized care and takes action for significant changes in patient conditions.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care and makes necessary modifications to assist with optimal patient outcomes.
• Establishes evidence-based and safe interventions and priorities when providing care, including administering medications.
• Collaborates with patient and care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Communicates patient status to other health care providers and takes action for patient well-being.
• Observes patient status and takes appropriate action for patient well-being.
• Collaborates with colleagues to ensure discharge planning and addressing identified needs.
• Identifies and offers solutions to patient care delivery issues through quality improvement and continuing education.
• Performs other duties as required.
