Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an ALS Paramedic for ground transports in North Carolina. This full-time night-shift role follows a rotating 2-2-3 schedule, with base in High Point and hours from 7pm to 7am. A sign-on bonus is available to eligible applicants.

Paramedic certification and state OEMS license are required; ACLS/PALS may be required within a year in select areas. The role emphasizes rapid patient assessment, delivering prescribed therapies, EMR documentation, patient safety, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Paramedic certification or A.A.S. degree or equivalent.
• Three years EMS experience preferred.
• BCLS and state OEMS EMT-P certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain patient privacy and a safe environment.
• Document care in Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to set treatment goals.
• Promote optimal patient flow and safety in ED.
• Respond to emergencies with professional practice and accountability.
