Job summary

Cooper University Health Care in South Jersey seeks a qualified EMS professional to join our patient care team as a full-time driver/paramedic. You will provide pre-hospital ALS care and collaborate with EMS colleagues to deliver timely, compassionate care across weather conditions.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment, documentation, and transportation to appropriate facilities. Required licensure includes NJ Paramedic (or reciprocity) and current BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications,

Qualifications

• 1 year EMS ALS experience (preferred).
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current NJ Paramedic certification or eligible for reciprocity; NREMT-P preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP or EPC certifications.
• ICS-100 or equivalent and IS-700 or equivalent; ICS-200/IS-800 within first year of employment.
• Valid NJ driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital ALS care in all weather conditions with other EMS providers as part of the patient care team.
• Treat patients of all ages using appropriate equipment and techniques to assess, treat, lift, move and transport to medical facilities.
• Complete all required documentation and other duties to support efficient EMS operations with a professional attitude.
