Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold Georgia Paramedic license.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications, maintained without lapse.
• Valid Georgia Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Criminal background screening and licensure verification.
• Minimum 1 year as Paramedic or equivalent ALS environment.
• Knowledge of pre-hospital care standards and EMS protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide ALS emergency medical care per EMS protocols and medical direction.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and initiate interventions.
• Administer medications, perform advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring, and defibrillation.
• Ensure safe patient handling, transport, and infection prevention practices.
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and in compliance with policies.
• Complete accurate patient care and billing documentation.
• Communicate with patients, families, healthcare providers, and receiving facilities.
• Maintain readiness of vehicles, equipment, and supplies.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and teamwork; participate in training and quality improvement.
