Job summary

Sun Valley Resort is seeking a Mountain Guest Services team member to provide information and assistance across Bald Mountain and related base-area operations. This role supports guest safety, mountain operations, and special events while representing the resort as a welcoming ambassador.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to work outdoors in alpine conditions and follow safety procedures.
• Comfortable with two-way radios and basic computer applications.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service by welcoming guests and sharing accurate information.
• Anticipate guest needs and connect to appropriate departments.
• Prioritize safety and report hazards or incidents promptly.
• Assist guests who are injured or lost and support Mountain Patrol when needed.
• Maintain radio communications and knowledge of lifts, trails, and base-area operations.
• Support guest flow, events, and mountain tours.
• Set up and maintain service equipment and information boards.
• Complete required logs and incident reports accurately.
• Participate in training and safety meetings.
• Maintain attendance and collaborate with resort departments.
