Fairmont Orchid on Hawai‘i Island seeks a Recreation Attendant to deliver energetic, authentic service at our beach and pool facilities. You’ll greet guests, assist with towels and gear, and create memorable experiences in a luxury setting.

You will be part of a collaborative team, maintaining a pristine environment while sharing knowledge about wellness offerings and activities. This role includes competitive benefits and a supportive work culture at a renowned resort.

Qualifications

• Passion for sharing Hawaiian culture and island lifestyle with guests.
• Strong guest-service skills with calm, courteous demeanor.
• Good reading, writing, and spoken English.
• Driver’s License required.
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a high-energy team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests with enthusiasm and assist with needs such as towels, chaise lounge covers, cabana and daybed setup.
• Maintain vibrant, clean beach and pool areas by collecting towels and debris.
• Deliver warm, personalized service to create memorable guest experiences in a luxury resort.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness, setup, and ambiance at all times.
• Be knowledgeable about wellness, recreation activities, and hotel features to enhance guest stays.
• Upsell and promote recreation experiences in a guest-focused way to maximize revenue.
• Perform opening/closing side duties and prep beach/pool areas to brand standards.
