Job summary

Schwab in Texas is seeking a Balance Sheet Forecasting and Analytics professional to join the Corporate Treasury team. You will help transform Net Interest Income forecasting, model balance sheet items, and support ALM strategies across investment portfolios.

You will work closely with risk, product, and analytics teams, leverage Polypaths ALM and other NIR tools, and grow through challenging projects with supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• 3+ years relevant experience with an emphasis on ALM, fixed income analytics, capital markets, market risk or Treasury-related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Net Interest Revenue (NIR) forecasting.
• Expertise with Polypaths ALM, QRM, or other NIR forecasting software required.
• Experience with CCAR and the associated reporting and control performance preferred.
• Experience with Python, Sequel or Artificial Intelligence preferred.
• Enthusiasm to work in white space and create innovative analyses to drive strategy.
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining composure in a potentially stressful environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a team shaping the NII forecasting function as a strategic tool for optimizing the balance sheet and portfolios.
• Be an individual contributor on the ALM NII forecasting team with BAU revenue forecasting within Capital Stress Testing.
• Collaborate with risk partners, product leaders, and others to manage risk across Schwab and legal entities.
• Continue to implement next-generation infrastructure to forecast NII, Liquidity, and Capital.
