Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Well organized with ability to self-direct daily activities.
• Capable of strenuous physical activity related to revert and alloy handling.
• Able to handle ingots up to 100 pounds.
• Towmotor experience preferred.
• On-call availability and weekend coverage as schedule dictates.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily alloy issuance to the foundry.
• Perform physical alloy inventories as needed.
• Process and segregate revert.
• Maintain cribs for alloy and revert with segregation and cleanliness.
• Cut and weld changes as needed.
• Maintain master heat database for production, P/Ns and special lots.
• Clean pipe in ingots as needed.
• Act as back-up for other alloy technicians.
• Assist Foundry with supplies inventory control.
