Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist with a strong background in oncology to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess both hazardous and non-hazardous medication preparation skills and demonstrate a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting.
• Prepare and dispense medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy for patients.
• Participate in clinical meetings and contribute to patient care plans.
• Assist in the education of patients and staff regarding medication use.

Holiday and Scheduling Requirements

Travelers will be expected to work 2 of the 3 upcoming major holidays:

• Thanksgiving Day/Black Friday
• Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
• New Years Eve/New Years Day

If the contract aligns with only 2 of these holidays, the expectation is to work 1 of the 2 holidays listed. Additionally, please limit holiday requests to 1.

Schedule

The standard work schedule will include:

• 40 hours per week between 6 AM - 7 PM.
• Working every 3rd or 4th Saturday from 8 AM - 4:30 PM.
