Job Description

Inpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. This position offers a unique opportunity for professionals looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. Below are the details of the role:

Schedule and Shift

• 7 on 7 off schedule
• Night shift: 4x10 hours (21:00 - 07:30)

Call Requirements

No on-call duties are required for this position.

Floating Requirements

Members may be asked to float within the facility as necessary, adhering to the scope of practice.

Minimum Experience

A minimum of 1 year of experience is required. This unit accepts first-time travelers.

Clinical Screening

Candidates will undergo a clinical review to assess suitability for the position. If the individual passes the clinical screening while meeting organizational guidelines, they will proceed to a final decision with the hiring manager. Clinical screenings are conducted on a case-by-case basis.

Time Off Requests (RTO)

The maximum allowable time off is 7 days during the assignment period.

Holiday Work Expectations

Travelers are expected to work on major holidays as follows:

• If one major holiday falls within the assignment, the traveler must work it.
• If two major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler must work both.
• If three major holidays fall within the assignment, the traveler must work two of the three holidays.

Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

Compliance Requirements

Full compliance is required to start on time. If compliance is not met within the necessary timeframe, start dates may be delayed by 2 weeks due to orientation scheduling.

Local Candidates

Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers.

Orientation Hours

The number of non-billable orientation hours will be determined by the length of the contract, with 8 hours allotted for an 8-week assignment and 10 hours for a 10-week assignment.
