Baltimore County Public Schools seeks a Resource Teacher for the Allied Sports Program (12-Month). This role assists the Director of Athletics in planning, development, and evaluation of the Allied Interscholastic Athletics Program across BCPS.

You will attend meetings, coordinate with high schools, prepare reports, and provide training for coaches on opportunities for students with disabilities, while ensuring compliance with certifications and eligibility rules.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree.
• Three years of successful teaching and coaching experience.
• Experience with the Interscholastic Allied Sports Program; district representation; IEP/504 experience.
• Administrative experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Attends monthly athletic director’s meetings and reports on progress of the Allied Interscholastic Program.
• Develops, organizes, and maintains an effective Allied Intersch scholastic Athletic Program and related athletic policies.
• Works as a facilitator to plan and implements the Allied Intersch scholastic Athletic Program with each secondary high school.
• Submits annual data/reports to BCPS and the MPSSAA.
• Serves as a point of contact for local, state, and national network initiatives.
• Assists with Pathways to Play Committees.
• Provides leadership and training for coaches on opportunities for students with disabilities.
• Assists with budget/financial reports and end-of-season schedules.
