Cynet Health is seeking an Allied Health Ophthalmology Tech for a 13-week day-shift assignment across multiple clinics.

Position requires 5+ years of experience, BLS, COA, MA-R certification, and a willingness to apply for Medical Assistant Registration. You will perform basic eye exams, assist ophthalmologists during exams and surgeries, and participate in intravitreal injections and intraocular pressure measurements.

Description:Need to float to 3-4 clinics.Shuttle service available between clinics.No car is required to float between sites.Tech is notified of float need during the daily morning huddle.Potentially, float needs may be indicated the day before.First-timers are accepted for this position.Clinician may float within the scope to meet facility needs.Position involves assisting with intravitreal injections and performing intraocular pressure measurements.Responsibilities include obtaining and recording medical history and visual acuity.Perform various skills such as clinical optics, checking vision, and patient education.The candidate will be involved in labeling medications and specimens, as well as cleaning and sterilizing instruments.Compassionate patient care and effective communication are essential.Responsibilities may also include scheduling appointments and conducting follow-up calls.This position supports diverse patient populations including adults and geriatrics.Overall patient care requires collaboration with interdisciplinary support services.Candidates should be prepared to engage in a dynamic and varied clinical environment.
