Job summary

Head and Neck Surgery, Assoc., PSC in Florence, Kentucky is seeking an Allergy Technician / Medical Assistant to join our team. You will perform allergy testing, administer subcutaneous injections, and coordinate patient care across Allergy and ENT clinics.

The role involves preparing allergy extract prescriptions, educating patients on treatments, and developing individualized plans with providers. You will also manage pulmonary function tests and EPIC scheduling while maintaining a clean

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program.
• Confidence and experience in administering subcutaneous injections.
• Willingness to travel between Edgewood, Florence, Ft. Thomas (KY) and Dearborn (IN) locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct allergy testing and administer subcutaneous allergy injections.
• Prepare customized allergy extract prescriptions based on test results.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatment plans, and allergy procedures.
• Develop and communicate individualized treatment plans in collaboration with providers.
• Perform pulmonary function tests.
• Use EPIC to schedule appointments and manage patient records.
• Collaborate with the Allergy Team to handle calls, messages, and work queues.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
