Job summary

Align Ent And Allergy is seeking a dedicated Allergy Technician to support allergy testing, education, and treatment administration within a busy ENT and Allergy Practice. The role involves conducting skin tests, preparing materials, recording histories, and assisting in immunotherapy under physician supervision.

You will educate patients, follow safety protocols, and maintain EMR documentation while collaborating with the care team across multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant certification or relevant healthcare training preferred.
• Previous experience in an allergy, ENT, pulmonology, or medical office setting preferred.
• Knowledge of allergy testing procedures, immunotherapy, and patient care protocols is a plus.
• Ability to administer allergy injections and monitor patients for adverse reactions (per state regulations and provider supervision).
• Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform allergy testing procedures (skin prick and intradermal tests) to identify allergens.
• Prepare and maintain testing materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Record patient histories and allergy symptoms accurately.

The Allergy Technician is responsible for supporting healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with allergies. The technician performs various tasks related to allergy testing, patient education, and treatment administration under the supervision of a physician or licensed healthcare provider.
