Job summary

Pulmonary Associates of Richmond seeks a skilled Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage adult patients with allergies, immunologic and respiratory conditions.   • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited program.
  • Board certification in Allergy and Immunology recognized by the medical field.
  • Strong clinical, diagnostic, and interpersonal skills with patient-centered focus.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose and manage allergic/immunologic disorders (asthma, rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, anaphylaxis).
  • Perform and interpret tests: skin prick, patch testing, spirometry, and PFTs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans including immunotherapy and biologic therapies.
  • Manage acute allergic reactions and provide emergency care.
  • Educate patients and families on allergen avoidance and medication use.
  • Collaborate with primary care providers, pulmonologists and other specialists.

For 50 years, we have been the premier provider of pulmonary outpatient care in central Virginia, with five locations, each offering full PFTs, allergy testing and immunotherapy, and dispensing of biologic therapy.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage patients with allergies, immunologic, and respiratory conditions. The physician will provide comprehensive care for both adult patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.
  • Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin prick testing, patch testing, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy (allergy shots), biologic therapies, and patient education.
  • Manage acute allergic reactions and provide emergency treatment when
