Pulmonary Associates of Richmond seeks a skilled Allergy Physician (Allergist-Immunologist) to diagnose, treat, and manage allergic, immunologic, and respiratory conditions in adult patients.

The role involves performing skin testing, spirometry, immunotherapy, biologic therapies, and collaborating with pulmonologists and other specialists; offers a comprehensive benefits package and a full-time, partner-track opportunity.

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Allergy and Immunology.
• Experience in a healthcare or clinical setting.
• Familiarity with biologic therapies and advanced immunologic treatments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic disorders, including asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergies, eczema, urticaria, and anaphylaxis.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as skin prick testing, patch testing, spirometry, and pulmonary function tests.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, including immunotherapy (allergy shots), biologic therapies, and patient education.
• Manage acute allergic reactions and provide emergency treatment when necessary.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on allergen avoidance, medication use, and disease management.
