Job summary

Texas ENT Specialists seeks a detail-oriented Allergy Lab Assistant to support a fast-paced mixing lab. You will prepare allergy antigen vials, document components, assign IDs, print labels and patient identification cards, and enter vial details for billing and treatment records.

Required is a High School Diploma or GED and 1–5 years as Medical Assistant or Pharmacy Technician, with CMA/CCMA/NCMA/RMA preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–5 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, or similar role.
• Preferred Medical Assistant Certification (CMA, CCMA, NCMA, RMA).

Responsibilities

• Reviews allergy lab orders and prepares patient-specific vials.
• Mixes patient-specific antigen(s) and documents components in the mixing room database.
• Assigns a vial ID and prints labels with patient details and location.
• Prints and laminates patient identification cards and ensures correct patient data on file.
• Enters vial information into ECW and bills for vial(s).
• Transports vials to treatment sites and ensures proper handling and documentation.
