Job summary

ENTA, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates, seeks an Allergy Technician to support allergy testing and immunotherapy within the clinic. You will manage patient flow, documentation, and supplies while coordinating with physicians to ensure quality care.

The role requires a High School education or GED and preferred allergy clinic experience; RN/LPN or medical assistant credentials are welcomed with healthcare experience. May travel to other offices as needed.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED equivalent.
• Allergy specialty clinic experience preferred.
• RN/LPN preferred; Medical Assistant/Nurse Assistant Certification (PCT, SRT, Pharmacy Tech. & etc.) accepted with a preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver incredible patient experience with safe and efficacious clinical outcomes.
• Schedules and conducts allergy testing and immunotherapy as ordered by physicians.
• Maintains testing sets and Dip well trays.
• Obtain referrals for testing and immunotherapy as required by insurance prior to appointment.
• Ensure patient has a scheduled appointment prior to being seen in the Allergy clinic.
• Formulate and mix vials for patients prior to scheduled appointment.
• Document progress of immunotherapy patients and ensure yearly follow-up.
