Job summary

Family Allergy & Asthma is seeking an Injection Room Nurse (LPN/RN) to support our Columbus, OH clinic. The role involves preparing the injection room, administering allergy injections, maintaining supplies, and handling daily charges and receipts.

You will educate patients on policies and ensure HIPAA compliance while supporting the team during scheduled shifts. The ideal candidate holds an LPN or RN degree, with 1–2 years of nursing experience and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, patient care plans, and policies.
• Effective communication with staff and patients at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the injection room area each morning.
• Administer allergy injections.
• Restock supplies and order through approved procedures.
• Maintain daily charges log and patient receipts.
• Ensure consent forms are signed and educate patients on policies.
• Adhere to HIPAA and all regulatory standards.
• Remain on-site for 30 minutes after injections as required.
