Allergy & ENT Associates in Modesto, CA is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our allergy and immunology team.

The PA/NP will provide direct patient care in a collaborative outpatient setting, working with physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality care for allergies, asthma and immunologic conditions. Competitive benefits and ongoing professional development are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited PA or NP program.
• Current California PA or NP license or eligibility.
• DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology or related fields preferred; training may be provided.
• Strong clinical judgment and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work independently within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new and established patients with allergies, asthma, and immunologic conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans with supervising physician.
• Provide follow-up care and ongoing management.
• Order and review diagnostic tests and labs.
• Prescribe medications within scope.
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with clinicians to ensure high quality care.
• Consult with physician on complex cases as needed.
• Follow protocols and standards of care.
