Job summary

Modena Health is seeking a dedicated Allergy and Asthma Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join the Laguna Niguel clinic. You will provide direct patient care, perform assessments, diagnose, and manage treatment for allergic conditions in adults and children, collaborating with physicians and staff.

The role is full-time, exempt, with a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, and start date about 2–3 months from offer date, pending credentialing completion.

Qualifications

• Master’s (MSN) or Doctorate (DNP) in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) by ANCC or another recognized board.
• Must pass a national certification exam (e.g., ANCC’s Family Nurse Practitioner exam).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with allergies, asthma, and related conditions through exams and tests.
• Supervise and manage in-office procedures including immunotherapy and challenges.
• Create personalized care plans and prescribe medications.
• Educate patients and families on care, medications, and trigger avoidance.
• Work with physicians and staff to ensure coordinated care.
• Handle documentation and maintain patient records.
• Provide mentorship to nursing and clinical staff.
• Assist with coordination of follow-up care and referrals.
